COMPOSER & SONGWRITER

In the last five years, Justine Barker has scored over 250 hours of drama for BBC One with iconic BAFTA winner Casualty, gripping crime procedural London Kills, and co-composed with Anthony Eve, the popular Northern Irish production Hope Street.

In addition to her media work, she writes and produces lyrical songs and instrumental tracks.

In 2016 she was a mentee on the Women In Film & TV mentoring scheme and went on to win Best Composer at Underwire Film Festival for her ground breaking score for short film ‘Dawn’.

Inspired by that positive experience, Justine is keen to help increase opportunities for those under represented within the industry and champions mentoring and collaborative partnerships. She has been a mentor on several programmes for Ivors Academy, Women In Film and TV, Manners McDade and Soho House x Creative Mentor Network. She is also an elected senator at Ivors Academy.

Justine is signed to independent music publisher Wise Music Creative.
