Justine Barker is an award-winning composer with a diverse yet distinctive style. In the last three years, she has scored over 150 hours of drama for BBC One. Her latest commissions include the iconic BAFTA winner Casualty, London Kills, and Hope Street, a brand new police drama set in Northern Ireland .
Also known for her work on critically acclaimed series Suspects, Holby City and Sirens, she has balanced TV credits with a varied film career including work for award-winning directors Christiana Ebohon-Green, Piotr Szkopiak and Jake Graf.
Justine won Best Composer at Underwire Film Festival 2016, and was a mentor on the 2020 Ivors Academy mentoring programme. This year she is a mentor on the Women In Film and TV mentoring scheme.
In addition to her media work, she writes and produces lyrical songs and instrumental tracks for music production libraries and produced 50 tracks for 5 seasons of BBC1's Outnumbered.
She is signed to independent music publisher Wise Music Creative.
